Billl’s journey to becoming a Psychologist began when the weight of his own woundedness collapsed in the grief of divorce. As a “successful” business executive, Bill defined his life by the next promotion or business deal. Beneath the surface was emptiness and fear that it would someday collapse, and it did.

At the end, I did everything possible to prevent our divorce, but I had been too stubborn and proud to get the help I needed until it was too late.

My life was profoundly changed when a loving and skilled Christian counselor helped me to look inward and see my issues and emptiness.

Having been a single parent and father of four, I believe some part of the rest of my life will be spent ministering to marriages. God can use the pain of my experience to help others. - Bill Rush
