My Approach
“Hope” can look different for everyone. For some it feels like a belief, for others a quiet sense of possibility. My walk of faith reminds me of two guiding truths: to let the Lord hold one of my hands, while I extend the other to support and strengthen those I walk beside.
As your therapist, I will meet you where you are, offering a safe and compassionate space to uncover the hope within you. Together, we will explore the difficult and uncomfortable moments of life while also celebrating each step of progress. I believe that every person has the capacity to thrive — sometimes it simply takes patience, courage, and guidance to bring it to light.
I use a compassionate, motivational, and systemic approach to therapy, weaving in faith and spirituality when clients desire. My work is grounded in Solution Focused therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Attachment Theory. These approaches allow me to support clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, complex trauma, life transitions, and relational challenges. I enjoy working with families, couples, new parents, children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking healing, connection, spiritual guidance, or learn vulnerability. I have a heart for working with immigrants, biracial relationships, survivors of trafficking, and those who have experienced spiritual or ritual abuse.
My goal is simple yet powerful: to walk alongside you, shining light on your strengths, and helping you discover that within you is the ability not just to survive, but to flourish.
