Therapeutic Approach & Areas of Focus

Many of the emotions and challenges people bring to therapy are responses to loss, stress, trauma, or change. My goal is to help you name these emotions and internal experiences, feel more grounded in them, and build confidence in how you manage them and navigate challenging decisions.

For those whose faith is important to them, we can explore ways to lean on your faith and incorporate God into your healing and decision-making in a way that feels meaningful and aligned with your values.

I tend to bring a warm, collaborative style to sessions, with a balance of thoughtful reflection and deeper exploration. We may focus on learning ways to manage stress and emotions, while also taking time to understand patterns, increase awareness of your internal experience, and explore what may be contributing beneath the surface.

I am passionate about helping individuals 16+ who are seeking support with the following:

  • Grief and Loss (including less recognized or ambiguous loss)
  • Depression and Mood-Related Challenges
  • Anxiety (including Social Anxiety)
  • Life Transitions and Adjustment Challenges
  • Trauma and Stress-Related Concerns
  • Intrusive Thoughts and Compulsive Behaviors
  • Relationship and Family Conflict
  • Faith Exploration and Spiritual Concerns

When you lose someone, it may feel like the world keeps spinning when your world just stopped. You may be grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a pregnancy, a career, a pet, a home, or another unwanted change. My hope is that no matter the type of loss you have experienced, I can provide a space where your grief is witnessed and where you can begin to find meaning after loss. In our sessions together, I provide a space to process your experience while gently building tools to help you feel more grounded and supported one day at a time.
