Background & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) pursuing my Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license. I received my Bachelor’s degree at University of Northwestern – St. Paul (formerly Northwestern College) and my Master’s degree at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. Along with individual supervision, I attend a monthly supervision group and participate in consultations with colleagues. When you work with me you not only get my expertise but also several practitioners’ decades of knowledge.
Faith & Holistic Worldview
I am a Christ follower and I endeavor to live as He lived on earth – with compassion and love. I believe He orchestrates healing through connection and community, which can include therapy. I strongly believe we are complicated, integrated, and holistic human beings; our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts all inform and affect one another. This is my personal faith and worldview, but I do not expect my clients to share them. Whether you’d like to discuss a similar or different faith, I’d like to meet you in the counseling room as you need.
Interests
When I’m not seeing clients, I’m spending time with friends and family, thrifting, building LEGO, playing board games, reading books, traveling, and participating in my own holistic journey.
I look forward to meeting you!
