My professional experience includes helping individuals find the mental heath resources they need, as well as facilitating mental health workshops (both locally and in Ethiopia), while founding a non-profit organization dedicated to improving overall wellness within the East African community.

Experience

My passion lies in providing support to individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate the complexities of their mental health journeys. With a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, I believe that while we are all experts on ourselves, the perspective of someone outside our individual life circumstances can help us find the changes we long to see in our lives. I look forward to working collaboratively with you to achieve meaningful and lasting changes.

As an Ethiopian American, I bring a unique and culturally sensitive approach to mental health counseling. While my faith influences my efforts to help you strive for hope, change, and your best life possible, spirituality is directly incorporated only to the extent that you desire.
