I am a Christian who happens to be a Therapist.

I am a Therapist who happens to be a Christian.

Whichever way you look at it, my calling is to walk along side and help you with whatever is troubling you. I like to meet my clients “where they’re at”, meaning I’ll start wherever you need to.

You are seeking out a Christian therapist. Each person has a different idea of what that means. My approach is that Christians are human and deserve to have a safe space where they get to “be real”.

It is sacred to me that I provide a therapeutic setting where it is safe for you to be vulnerable and real- with no judgement or criticism. Within this safe space, you can “dump out” all of the broken pieces of your life and we can sift through them together to find some clarity for with whatever your situation is.

Life is hard. Relationships are complicated. Sometimes, it does feel like God gives us more than we can handle! My calling is to walk along side you through these times of darkness, so you that you don’t have to do it alone! While we live in a fallen world, He wants you to have hope, but also to be patient with His timing for your healing journey. But even though we trust in His timing to heal our hurts and heartaches in life, we long for peace now! He is at work for good in the middle of life’s greatest challenges. Remember, when you are walking through the wilderness, He is with you, even if you do not feel His presence. He is advocating to bring healing and peace for your suffering. I’ve also walked through the wilderness and I know that it feels scary, lonely, debilitating and exhausting. I am honored to walk with you through yours.

Isaiah 61:3

To all who mourn in Israel he will give: beauty for ashes; joy instead of mourning; praise instead of heaviness. For God has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.

God wastes nothing in your life, He will give you “Beauty for Ashes”-  but only if you allow Him and willing to listen for His voice.

Psalm 56:8

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle. You have recorded each one in Your book.

How comforting to know that He sees out pain! While I obviously cannot count your tears, I am able to witness them in your therapeutic safe space (PS- my office has plenty of Kleenex)! 🙂
