*Now taking clients for telehealth appointments from all over the state of Minnesota*
I believe a healthy therapeutic relationship – where trust can be built, and hope can be formed –
is an important part of healing. My own faith in God has helped me through my own challenges
and has driven me to pursue my passion for helping others with their mental health.
I have worked in a substance use program and enjoyed working with recovering addicts as they
make the transition back to their lives. My real passion is in working with individuals with
anxiety-based illnesses. I work with adults and teenagers (ages 14 to 70) who struggle with
anxiety related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and substance use. I find joy in
working with a variety of people and learning more about various life experiences.
Sometimes a little knowledge can provide clients with surprisingly large insights about their own
situation. I take a holistic approach to counseling and consider all aspects of your problem
including social issues, spirituality, history of mental health, and current symptoms. The distress
you are feeling at this moment does not last forever and the ability to return to a higher
functioning life is possible again.
