If you answered yes to any of these questions, I would love to work with you.
I have been working for over ten years as a therapist and love the work I do. Seeing marriages restored, parents gain confidence, teens communicate better, and men and women begin to enjoy their lives is amazing to be a part of. I work with depression, anxiety, panic disorders, anger, trauma, and the many issues that can surface in life transitions or in grief. I work with men, women, and teens, marriages, parent-teen relationships, and restoration of family relationships. I have been honored to be a part of each one of my client’s journeys and to work with them through the tough spots and eventually witness the joy.
I use a variety of methods in my work including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative therapy, and Psycho-educational work. I do incorporate faith as much or as little as my clients are comfortable with. I consider myself a follower of Jesus and my work involves me being
Christ-like throughout our work together.
God has been with me through the trials and mistakes in my own life and His love for me has never wavered. I hope to be a reflection of that non-judgmental presence and work with my clients to allow them to see in themselves what God sees. As it states in Isaiah 64:8 “We are the clay and You are the potter. We are all formed by Your hand.” So through all the twist and turns in life we can know that God can form us through it all, even when it is not what He would have wanted for us. I hope that I can be His hands and feet, as he has called all of us to be, as I work with you on your journey and hopefully become a part of your healing.
