It is a deep human desire to be seen, heard, loved and known. I am honored and humbled by my clients inviting me into their lives to witness their pain, struggles and perseverance. I am with my clients to empower and challenge them in their growth, healing and beauty. No matter the past or path that got them into the counseling room with me, my main focus is to partner with them to build a better future. Not a future to just feel better or make it to the next day or hope to have better relationship or to get over the past; but beyond. We work together as a team to flourish as a child of God, this side of Heaven.

Experience

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over 10 years of experience in various roles working with teens, college students and adults. I work from a client centered, solution focused, and cognitive behavioral clinical approach. I am trained in EMDR therapy and working towards my certification. I received my Master’s degree from St Mary University and my Bachelors degree from The University of Minnesota.

I have experience helping individuals through various trauma experiences, abuse, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, grief and loss, spiritual issues, eating disorders and addictions. Above all else, I operate from my Christian faith and worldview. I incorporate my faith, in the therapeutic relationship, to the degree that my clients are comfortable with.
