I am a mental health counselor who is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with hope, clarity, and confidence. I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients – from teens to adults and couples (both premarital and married), supporting them through issues like anxiety, relationship struggles, identity, and life transitions.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques. I believe that everyone is the expert of their own story, and with the right support, insight, and tools, meaningful and lasting change is possible.
As an Ethiopian American, I bring a culturally sensitive lens to my work and understand the importance of balancing mental health with cultural and spiritual values. While my own faith shapes my perspective, I only incorporate spirituality into sessions if it aligns with your goals and comfort.
I have facilitated various mental health workshops and have co-facilitated DBT, anger management, and recovery-oriented group sessions, helping strengthen emotional regulation, communication, and self-awareness skills in a supportive environment.
