Healing can take many forms in our lives and therapy is one of those places that can facilitate that process. Like many, I reached out to see a therapist when I was in a very dark place in my life. I needed someone to process with me what was going on in my heart, soul and life. I was struggling and didn’t know where to turn.

I found a counselor who listened, accepted me where I was, and asked me some hard questions as I reflected on where I had been, where I was at today and what I wanted moving forward. Doing so forced me to come face to face with my own brokenness. I wrestled with my faith in God, navigated through some deeply troubling waters but I came out more whole than I did coming in. It was not easy, but I’m glad I reached out to meet with a therapist when I did. It was one of many pieces that contributed to my healing and helping me to move forward.

Finding a therapist, you can trust to process some of the difficult moments in your life is foundational. As your counseling partner, I will create a safe place for you as you navigate the challenges you are facing and help you figure out what you want and need moving forward.

I believe in God’s healing and the resiliency of the human heart and soul. Out of the ashes, something beautiful can emerge. Come as you are and we can go from there.

I enjoy working with adolescents, families and adults of all ages and stages in life. My experience includes working with individuals and families dealing with a variety of issues including life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues and loss/grief of all kinds.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. - Matthew 11:28,29
