Barb Shock LeMire

Barb’s warm non-judgmental presence is fueled by her desire to partner with others and help them discover, grow and heal. She has a deep gratitude for this work and for the privilege of being an ally to others on their path to healing. Her journey began with a heart for the struggles she witnessed in her own family regarding the helplessness surrounding mental health. She is an enthusiastic advocate for mental health awareness as well as non-discrimination and social justice issues. Her encouraging support provides an environment of collaboration and healing.

Barb’s faith in God is the foundation for which she lives. Her compassion is based on loving others as God has loved us. She is respectful of all faith beliefs and adheres to the client’s desires on matters of faith within therapy conversations.

Education

Barb graduated with a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has a BS in Psychology and Minor with Sociology from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.
